This module is a good fit if you:
Not there yet? Start with the Russian Manicure Foundation Course — this speed module builds directly on the technique taught there.

This is not a beginner course. It’s built for technicians who already know how to perform Russian Manicure and want to work faster — without the quality drop that usually comes with rushing. The session focuses on where time actually goes during a service: setup, tool switching, product application, and decision-making under time pressure.
You’ll leave with a specific plan for cutting your own service time, not just general tips.
Note: This is a specialized, single-topic module and is not a state licensing program. Students receive a Certificate of Completion from Why Not Nails Academy.
Format: One-on-one or small-group session, structured around your current workflow. You work on your own current service in real time, timed and observed by the instructor, then adjust based on what's actually slowing you down.
Students will work on:
- Timed workflow assessment — tracking current time spent on each stage of the service
- Live service timing — identifying where time is actually lost during real work, not in theory
- Workstation setup and tool placement for fewer unnecessary movements
- Bit and tool selection that reduces switching time
- Workflow restructuring — testing a more efficient sequence during the service
- Final timing comparison — reviewing what changed and where further improvement is possible

Upon successful completion of this module, students will be able to:

A faster workflow isn’t just about the clock. A more efficient service can mean:

– Certificate of Completion
– Personalized workflow feedback
– Rubber Base ($17)
– Top Coat ($17)
– Gel Polish – Misha ($11)
– Shiny Base ($17)
– Neon Base ($17)
